A second trailer for Wolfs has been released. This is the new directorial movie from Jon Watts starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The film is scheduled to release on Apple TV+ on September 26.
The synopsis of Wolfs reads that two rival fixers (Clooney and Pitt) cross paths when they’re both called in to help cover up a prominent New York official’s misstep. Over one explosive night, they’ll have to set aside their petty grievances–and their egos–to finish the job.

This is Watts’ first directorial effort following his involvement in Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man trilogy. This is also the latest film to co-star both George Clooney and Brad Pitt following the likes of the Ocean’s Trilogy and Burn After Reading. Wolfs has been met with slightly positive reviews thus far, but is destined to find a decent audience on Apple TV+ given the star power in the cast.
I’ll certainly be checking this out upon its digital release for exactly those reasons above. A decade ago, this would’ve been an important release on the calendar, but given the state of affairs in the film industry, it is heading (almost) straight to streaming following a limited theatrical release to meet awards qualifications guidelines.
