About the Film
Directed by John Carpenter, Prince of Darkness follows a priest and a group of graduate students who uncover an ancient canister hidden beneath an abandoned church. When it’s opened, a strange liquid begins to seep out, triggering a chilling series of events that turns the building into a trap and the outside world into a growing threat. Blending religious dread with apocalyptic sci-fi, the film builds tension through atmosphere, paranoia, and the creeping sense that something far worse than a haunting has been unleashed.
