Early Reviews Praise Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 Ahead of November 1 Release

Early reviews for Juror #2Clint Eastwood‘s latest (and possibly last) film – are pouring in. It seems as though those that are seeing the movie prior to its release on November 1 are digging what Juror #2 has to offer. Eastwood’s film currently sits at an outstanding 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

This contradicts what I was expecting given that Juror #2 was slated to only play in 50 theaters nationwide. Perhaps Warner Bros is scratching their head at this new development. There’s no way they expected the great reviews given the limited release. Clint Eastwood has been working for so long that there was bound to be an audience for Juror #2 if it was received warmly.

The movie follows family man Justin Kemp while he serves as a juror in a high profile murder trial. Kemp finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma – one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict or free the accused killer.

The film has a pretty starry cast. Nicholas Hoult (The Favourite [2018], The Menu [2022], Renfield [2023]) plays the leading man Justin Kemp. The rest of the cast includes Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons (Whiplash [2014]), Chris Messina (Air [2023]), Zoey Deutch, Cedric Yarbrough, Kiefer Sutherland (Fire Walk with Me [1992], They Cloned Tyrone [2023], The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial [2023]), Gabriel Basso and Amy Aquino.
