The official trailer for F1 has arrived, revving up excitement for Joseph Kosinski’s high-octane racing drama. Produced by Apple Original Films and starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, and Tobias Menzies, the film follows the fictional APXGP team as it battles for supremacy in the world of Formula One. Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a washed-up driver given one last shot at glory, while Idris stars as his younger teammate navigating the intense world of elite motorsport.

This marks Kosinski’s first film since his 2022 double feature of Spiderhead and Top Gun: Maverick, the latter of which was a massive box office success. With a reputation for practical effects and immersive stunt work, Kosinski seems poised to deliver another visceral cinematic experience, bringing the speed and spectacle of Formula One to the big screen.
Adding to the film’s authenticity, all 10 real-life Formula One teams will appear in the movie, including Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull, and McLaren. Fans can also expect to see cameos from star drivers like Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Lando Norris, further cementing F1 as one of the most ambitious racing films ever made.
Set for an international theatrical release on June 25, 2025, followed by its U.S. and Canada debut on June 27, 2025, F1 will later be available to stream on Apple TV+ after its theatrical run. This new trailer is the third official look at the film, following teasers released before the 2024 British Grand Prix and Super Bowl LIX.
